
FUN FACT: Did you know that in the 19th and early 20th centuries, egret plumes were worth more than gold?
Egret feathers were used in women’s fashion, leading to mass hunting. This caused an enormous decline in egret populations and eventually helped spark the modern day bird conservation movement!

I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as Brittle Bone Disease, and I get around in an electric wheelchair.
